Cautiously settling in

So, it's been a while since I've written here - I was moving to Los Angeles. During my winter vacation  any kind of internet connection I had access to was majorly slow, sometimes it would take over 40 minutes to just change my profile picture! I haven't completely settled just yet, but I'm getting there. I'm not living in the best district ever, and not the most English-speaking one, either, so I find it a little bit uncomfortable - which is understandable, because I've always lived in places that were easy to explore and use to my advantage.

To somewhat soften the transition, I went through a few vintage stores and bookstores in general - I was quite happy to find zines I've heard of in Russia - I saw originals of "Barefoot in the Kitchen" - a zine that my friends would translate back in russia. Speaking of zines, I submitted my work to the last Girls Get Busy zine, so if you have £1.50 to spare, check it out!

I got this underskirt at American vintage. The white mini is just a synthetic beachskirt I got at Costco when I was in Hawaii. Bra by American Apparel, Hemingway shirt (that you can barely see >:() by Feelosophy.

I think this underskirt looks great worn with a mini under it, or even bicycle shorts - maybe some velvet ones? I'm a bit too shy to wear it out though, but right now I'd rather not wear anything "out there" and just bury myself in my army coat, which is somewhat like a shield of armour, the Venus sign with a fist protecting me. And I need more protection than white mesh around my legs - that is, until I figure out the city and find some friends. Any applicants? :)

This is a glitch that happened to me while I was editing one of the skirt pics.

When I was in school in the UK, I wanted to explore glitching my work, but since I didn't have the chance to stay in that particular school, 'glitch-projects' were let go, however I still rapidly screenshot anomalies detected on my screen - maybe it'll just become an ongoing project.

Ta.
