Kiddie Arcade

I'm spending my Christmas holidays with my family in California right now. I'm the oldest child in my family, so I often end up in places of entertainment which don't 100% cater to my age demographic. For instance, kiddie arcades. While I was running around earning tickets I would later spend on a dollar store toy (made in china, most likely with lead), I stumbled upon a Star Blitz! photo booth and was immediately drawn to it, because being pathetically vain seemed more entertaining then whacking moles or spinning multi-colored wheels (no offense to anybody, but arcades just boooorrrreeeee me). It was the tackiest thing ever, kind of like a big Blingee-inspired photo booth, I guess. Blingee in real life.

I really like the whole pink tribal / pink dragon situation. I wonder what the kids waiting in like were thinking of me

I got myself an 88 eyeshadow palette for Christmas and I'm abusing the red eyeshadow already.. I think red eyeshadow is absolutely killer (in the primary sense of the word, haha).

I'm kind of surprised as to how fabulous I look here - maybe I should only take photographs of myself in Star Blitz booths from now on. Gahhh I love photo booths and being vain

Anywayyyyy if you were wondering where I got every item from my outfit, I'll list them with this ugly iphoto-edited picture. Yay. I'm mostly wearing stuff I found at the mall a few days ago - actually I think everything I'm wearing is from a mall, which is kind of scary, because I tend to think of myself as the girl who tries to boycott the sweatshops and mass-produced fashion. Oh well.

Oxblood Dr. Martens, cheap-ass tights from Russia, H&M faux leather skirt, H&M faux fur coat, H&M hologram bag, Topshop crucifix tee, and Ray Ban knock-offs I nicked from a friend.
My sisters hung out in JCPenney while I got myself some stuff in Sephora, and when they moved onto H&M I was like "well maybe I should check the discount rack, it's almost as good as the racks in thrift stores.

Hanging out in suburbia hasn't really helped un-paralyse my mind after exams in Russia, so I'm a bit confused as what to think about other than my looks. But it just takes a teeny bit of self-care for me to get all energetic and insipred the way I'm supposed to be.
